The challenge
Becslés.com needed a digital platform capable of presenting complex engineering and valuation services in a clear, credible and accessible way while simultaneously generating and managing new client enquiries.
The challenge was to combine a professional corporate website with a configurable valuation calculator, reference management, multilingual content, media handling and a protected operational administration environment — without introducing unnecessary architectural complexity.
Becslés.com is a business-oriented web application designed for a professional property valuation and building diagnostics company. The platform combines a public corporate website with a protected operational administration layer, creating a unified digital foundation for communication, lead generation, content management and service presentation. The public experience is available in Hungarian, English and German, with dynamic SEO metadata, canonical URLs and hreflang support. Visitors can explore the company's services, working process, pricing, partners and references, submit enquiries and interact with an indicative property valuation calculator. The system also introduces a dedicated administration workspace. Administrators can manage multilingual content, services, reference projects, media assets, locations and incoming client requests from a single interface. Reference projects can be drafted, published, featured, categorized and enriched with images, videos, partner information and multilingual metadata. The lead management layer transforms simple contact forms into structured business workflows. Incoming requests can be searched, prioritized, assigned, annotated and tracked through an activity timeline. SMTP integration enables replies directly from the administrative environment, while IMAP and verification capabilities support operational mail configuration. A configurable valuation calculator provides an indicative value range based on category-specific parameters, selectable factors and numerical adjustments. The architecture deliberately separates this lead-generation functionality from an official expert valuation process, providing a foundation for future server-side calculation, model versioning and domain-expert calibration. From a technical perspective, the platform is intentionally lightweight and deployable as a unified Node.js application. Next.js provides the HTTP and API layer, MongoDB provides persistent storage, Mongoose manages the data model, while Three.js enables optional WebGL-enhanced visual experiences. Security was treated as an integral part of the implementation rather than an afterthought. The system incorporates session protection, bcrypt password verification, CSRF protection, security headers, rate limiting, input validation, NoSQL sanitization, output escaping and controlled media uploads. The resulting platform establishes a scalable foundation for the next stage of the digital ecosystem: background mail processing, object storage and CDN delivery, automated media processing, audit logging, advanced CRM workflows, analytics and increasingly sophisticated valuation intelligence.
